Project 2 - Customer research and Advertising
This project was a little bit of a challenge to me. I volunteered to be the team leader this time to give myself a chance to learn something new. It was a struggle because I just didn’t really know what exactly the teachers were expecting as a final result. This made leading also quite difficult because I had no clue what I was supposed to be guiding my team towards. Thankfully the group helped me out as we went and I realised that I am not doing the project alone and we all still have a lot to learn.
The goal of the project was to learn how to analyse a group of customers, make a persona and a customer journey. From that make personalised advertisements that we think would inspire the customer to come to the event.
The actual event was a little bit vague to begin with. Information was limited and we had to fill a lot of the gaps in ourselves. It was the uncertainty that was definitely my downfall with this project. I like structured information that tells me exactly what needs to be done in the exact way it needs to be done. But I understand that because I am learning how to do projects like this the teachers can’t tell me too much information.
Our group communication had its moments where it was better and moments where it was worse. We didn’t communicate much at first and we all kind of stuck to what we had to do individually. But as time went on and we got more into the project we did start communicating more.
